Finally, the Spring, 2011 list is up and live! As you can see, the format on the site this year is a bit different, but hopefully it's an improvement. Surely I'll be tweaking it a bit as we go. I am accepting orders now, so email them in after you've had a chance to peruse the new list. And my apologies once again for being so late on getting it up and running. Also, there still may be a short delay in sending out certain orders that contain newer (immature) varieties, but I will do my very best! In other news, my local affiliate club held our annual informal mini-show for our members. For a small club, we had just over 50 entries! It was a very nice representation, and we indeed have some very good growers. Since the majority of my collection was stripped recently, I didn't have much to offer in the way of mature, blooming plants, but I did enter three semi-minis (Sunshine Lady, Bogeyman, and Rob's Ooey Gooey.) I also entered a couple dawgs and a non-blooming Rob's Artful Dodger in the foliage-only class. I came away with Best Semi with Bogeyman and Best Foliage Only. Yay for me! Our Best in Show winner was Frankie Taylor with a massive, expertly grown Episcia, 'Dark Secret'. Congratulations, Frankie! I'm also pleased to say that our little club is growing, and we welcomed a few new members and a guest to our meeting. We welcome all of you and hope you'll keep joining us!
